Why you should email your audience as much as you dang well please...
People in your audience want to hear from you. If they don’t they will leave your audience. They don’t want spam, that’s true, but you are not spam.
Everyone always says “I want to post X times, but I don’t want to be a bother/think it’s too much” to which I always want to ask…has anyone ever told you it was too much? Not a random person, but somebody in your audience who actively subscribed to your work. Have they ever said you email too much, please stop? Or are you assuming people are on your list out of courtesy and pity instead of because they want to hear from you?
I’ll bet dollars to donuts you are up in your head, or somebody you don’t even want in your audience got up in your head, or you’re up in your head about some emails you don’t want and expect people in your audience to feel the same way about your work.
But that’s nonsense. People in your audience want to hear from you. If they don’t they will leave your audience.
