I do wrapups of all my campaigns, and usually they are positive, but the last one kind of cratered. So, what happened?

I do wrapups of all my campaigns, and usually they are positive, but the last one kind of cratered. We still raised over $10k and more than broke even, but it's hard to say raising 72% of the previous campaign from 78% of the backers to a final campaign in a series is anything but a big failure.

The last time I ran a series-ending campaign, it was the highest raise from the most backers of any campaign I had run for it up to that point. On top of that, every campaign grew on the previous one both from a backer and from a monetary standpoint.

So, what happened? I'm not sure, but here are my theories.

1. If you look at the images below, the first one was the original image for this campaign, while the images for book 1 and book 5 (which follow it), were the images for the previous campaigns.
