I’ve written 55,000+ words about creating, growing, and scaling your Substack publication. No matter where on your Substack journey you are, The Author Stack can help you get to the next level.
Thanks Russell. I'm looking forward to bookmarking and reading these with a good cup of tea and a learning mindset. Really appreciate the support you provide for those of us that are writers, but didn't feel ready to say it out loud, until Substack came along. Also, for those of us that don't have massive followings or published books. Substack is a great leveller. I hope one day I'm able to pay it forward as you are doing here with us. KVB.
Thank you for everything you've shared here. It's great timing and will allow me to learn a lot about the tips and tricks to build something really cool here and profitable.
How well this is organised! Thank you for this post. This is exactly how I wanted to learn what I needed to learn, not getting overwhelmed by what's not yet relevant for me.
I am an in-house professional content creator for a large company. Being an author these days is scary for me. We are being encouraged to use AI for content creation and as someone with a long career, it is crazy to see this technology slowly change the way content is generated.
I understand your feelings. but I have no idea what this has to do with a post about growing your Substack. Is there a connection I'm missing? Nothing I talked about has anything to do with AI, though there is an article about Substack being the future of publising.
Blue collar workers had an industrial revolution in the 1800s that changed their relationship to work, and now white collar workers are seeing the same thing. There are still blue collar workers though, and there will still be writers. The relationship to work will change, but even 150 years after the jackhammer came about, people still use shovels.
Have you thought about hiring a translator? I know a lot of authors doing English to other language translations and they would never do it themselves.

Great stuff Russell
Really appreciate your commitment to communication, even though you obviously don't need to financially do so as you are already successful.
I will be reading these articles and considering subscribing to your substack.
My dude, I have so many questions I want to ask. Can you be my new like, writer guru dude?
Actually, yes. I take on consulting clients. You can book here. https://www.russellnohelty.com/schedule/
Bookmarked. I gotta save up first. Medium hit me hard so I'm like, doing my thing right now.

Such great stuff Russel - will update my resource page with this link! ✨
This is definitely a platform that answers a question and then asks several more.
