Thanks, Russell. Lots of great advice again here. I use a simplistic content calendar - not as detailed as yours - which helps keep me on track for the time being.

I do have a question about the ideal customer avatars. Should we find/build a unique avatar for every product? Or an avatar that will buy all the products?

I ask as my comics and prose are often in different genres, and while I’ve developed a general pitch that connects all my, I often find it hard to sell certain products to certain people. Any thoughts on approaching this?

That 100% depends on your author ecosystem. If you are a forest, you will be developing one over all your work. For a desert, you will be creating a different one for each product as it deals with different buyers. Grasslands and Aquatics are probably more toward the forest, and tundras toward the desert.

Thanks Russell. Yeah I’m a forest, so have been working to develop a single one, but need to keep revising until I can hone in on it more specifically.

For forests, you would be most concerned with theme, and catching people at different parts of the same journey.

This is amazing content! Thank you! After years of generic, almost-daily SM posts, I am trying to be more intentional about my main format, posting schedule, and content in 2024.
