My wildest business chart yet?

Am I good at business or bad at business in 2024? Inside, we speculate wildly.

Hi,

Today, I've put together what I consider the wildest chart detailing the revenue in my various businesses across the past nine years to date. Some notes before you dive in:

• The total MRR (Monthly Run Rate) in the bottom row is an average across my 9 years doing this work full-time.

• I also took the average P/L (Profit and Loss) across my nine years in business.

• This chart encapsulates all my business revenue across every business I have ever owned. I'm not breaking up businesses into their own charts for public consumption, but you can see in 2022, when Monica and I started working together, there was a huge increase in revenue.

• I designed by business so that I write off just about everything including but not limited to 30% of my mortgage as my home office, along with all my travel both to conferences and to places like Oaxaca and Spain on research trips. I also write off many meals, a large percentage of my supplies, health insurance, and anything my accountant tells me is legal …
